A. 
Except as otherwise provided by resolution of the council, every vehicle stopped or parked upon a roadway where there are adjacent curbs or paved roadway edges shall be so stopped or parked with the right hand wheels of such vehicle parallel to and within 18 inches of the right hand curb or right hand paved roadway edge.
B. 
It is a civil violation for anyone to leave any type of vehicle unattended without first having secured such vehicle to prevent it from rolling or moving so as to constitute a hazard.

A. 
Unless otherwise directed by a police officer or other duly authorized town agent or in accordance with properly erected signage to the contrary, no person shall stop, stand, or park any motorized or nonmotorized vehicle on any town street, roadway, or right-of-way:
1. 
In such a manner or under such conditions as to obstruct or impede traffic in any manner.
2. 
Upon any sidewalk or official town pedestrian path/walkway.
3. 
In such a manner as to block an alley or the entrance to a public or private driveway except for the loading or unloading of materials, and not then unless such loading or unloading can be accomplished without interference to the free movement of vehicular traffic.
4. 
Upon any public street, public right-of-way or public property in such a manner or under such conditions as to leave available less than 20 feet of the width of the roadway for the free movement of the vehicular traffic, except that a person may stop temporarily, in the actual loading or unloading of passengers, or, when necessary, in the observance of traffic signs or signals of a law enforcement officer.
5. 
Within 33 feet of the driveway entrance to any fire station and on the side of a street opposite the entrance to any fire station within 75 feet of the entrance when properly posted.
6. 
For the principal purpose of painting, greasing or repairing of a vehicle, except for repairs necessitated by an emergency.
7. 
Within a lane designated for the making of turning movements or for the operation of bicycles.
8. 
Within an intersection.
9. 
On a crosswalk.
10. 
Within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection.
11. 
Within 30 feet upon the approach to any flashing beacon, stop sign, or traffic control signal located at the side of a roadway.
12. 
Within an area designated as a public transit stop.
13. 
Within 50 feet of the nearest rail of a railroad crossing or within eight feet six inches of the center of any railroad track, except while a motor vehicle with motive power attached is loading or unloading railroad cars.
14. 
On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street (double parking).
15. 
In that area between the curb and sidewalk, or, on those roadways without curbs, in a manner so as to force a pedestrian to walk in the traveled portion of the roadway or onto private property or public right-of-way that is unsafe for pedestrians.
16. 
Upon any bridge or other elevated structure upon a street.
17. 
Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstructions when stopping, standing or parking would impede traffic.
18. 
Upon any public street, public right-of-way, or public property when such vehicle does not display current registration.
19. 
Directly in front of a community or individual postal box served by the U.S. Postal Service except for the purpose of delivering or collecting mail.
20. 
In violation of posted no parking signs or within the area of a painted red curb.
B. 
Vehicles parked in violation of this section are subject to removal and storage at the expense of the registered owner under ARS 28-872.

When signs are erected indicating no parking on that side of the street adjacent to any school property, no person shall park a vehicle in any such designated place for one hour before school opens until one hour after school closes on any school day.

A. 
The town engineer may cause to be placed signs requiring parking at an angle to the curb, notifying drivers that parking is prohibited or restricting parking in any way that may be necessary. When such signs have been erected as authorized by this section, it is a civil traffic violation for any person to stop or stand a vehicle in disobedience to such parking restrictions.
B. 
In lieu of providing signage, the town engineer may attach, post or display a written notice to the owner of record of the vehicle, giving the responsible individual or party 24 hours to remove the vehicle.

No person shall park in a parking place that is properly marked for handicapped parking only unless they meet the requirements of ARS 28-884. This section shall be enforceable on any public or private property within the town limits.

No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with law or the directions of a town law enforcement agent or traffic control device, either on public or private property, in any of the following places:
A. 
Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant.
B. 
In any area designated as a fire lane.

A. 
It is unlawful to park within the right-of-way for the purpose of:
1. 
Displaying such vehicle for sale.
2. 
Displaying advertising.
3. 
Displaying goods for sale.
B. 
It is unlawful to park a vehicle for the purpose of its sale, advertising or display of goods for sale on town-owned public lands without authority granted by the town council.
C. 
The display of any signs or other markings indicating that a vehicle is for sale shall be prima facie evidence that the vehicle has been parked for the purpose of sale.
D. 
Whenever a vehicle is parked in violation of this section, the person or persons in whose names such vehicle is registered and the person who parked the vehicle where the violation occurred are jointly and severally prima facie responsible for such violation.

A. 
No person shall park a vehicle upon any public highway, street, right-of-way, or parking lot in violation of an emergency, construction, special event, infrastructure or public utility work, repair or maintenance no parking sign that has been conspicuously posted.
B. 
The chief of police, town engineer, or designee is authorized to post emergency or nonemergency no parking signs on public highways, streets or parking lots for the purpose of street maintenance, construction, special events or any community-related event. The duration of emergency or nonemergency no parking shall be no longer than 72 hours. After a reasonable attempt has been made to contact the owner, any vehicle parked in violation shall be removed at the owner's expense.
