The city of Deer Park has the authority to control unauthorized vehicular traffic on the parking ramp, taxiways, and runways at the Deer Park Municipal Airport.

It is unlawful for motor vehicles to use the airport runways or taxiways unless appurtenant to the operation, use, and maintenance of the airport or unless permission has been granted by the city of Deer Park, or its designee, for limited and restricted temporary use. It is unlawful to use the airstrip for the purpose inconsistent with the landing of airplanes, unless permission is granted by the city of Deer Park or designee.

It is unlawful to leave a vehicle parked unattended on the aircraft ramp, taxiway, or runway.

Violations of this chapter or any of the provisions hereof shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $500.00 for each and every violation.
