Pursuant to Chapter 35A.63 RCW, the Snoqualmie planning commission is created, consisting of nine members who shall be selected as follows: the mayor and one member of council shall be ex officio members of the commission during the period of their incumbency in such offices. The other seven members shall be appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the city council. At least five members shall reside within the corporate limits of the city. Two members may reside outside of the corporate limits of the city but within the urban growth area as designated by King County pursuant to RCW 36.70A.110. The term of office shall be four years through December 31st. Three will expire on odd numbered years and four expire on even numbered years. Vacancies for the remainder of unexpired terms shall be filled in the same manner in which original appointments are made.
