A fund known as the sewer operation fund is established in the office of the clerk-treasurer.

The purpose of the fund is to receive moneys transferred from the general fund for the initial operation of the sewer system and to further receive all revenues from the operation of the sewer system and to pay therefrom all costs and expenses incurred in the operation of the sewer system.
