It is unlawful for any adult having the custody or control of a child, to knowingly permit the child to be in a public place during night hours unless such child is at such times under the supervision of an adult.

Any violation of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $25.00 or more than $100.00 or not more than thirty days in jail, or both, no part of which shall be suspended.
