The salary of the mayor of the town of Twisp, Washington, is hereby fixed and established in the amount of $3,000 per month, commencing on the first day of July 2024.

The salary of a member of the town council of the town of Twisp, Washington, is hereby fixed and established in the amount of $30.00 per regular scheduled council meeting and $20.00 per special council meeting or council committee meeting. The monthly salary shall not exceed $100.00 per month for any council member; provided, however, that no person who is a member of the town council at the date of passage of the ordinance codified in this chapter shall be eligible to receive such salary during the term of office for which such person is presently elected and/or appointed.

Any person who is presently ineligible to receive the salary of the office to which he is presently as provided in TMC § 2.65.010 and § 2.65.020 shall, during such period of ineligibility, receive and be paid in accordance with the salary fixed by existing ordinance of the town.
