Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall be liable to the town for any expense, loss, damage, cost of inspection or cost of correction incurred by the town by reason of such violation including any cost to the town incurred in collecting from such person said loss, damage, expense, cost of inspection or cost of correction.

Any person found to be violating any provision of this chapter shall be served by the town with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in such notice, permanently cease all violations and make all necessary corrections.

Any person, or persons, who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a civil infraction and, in addition to any other penalty provided in this chapter, shall be assessed a civil penalty of not more than $250.00 for each violation. In the event of a continuing violation, each day that such violation continues shall be deemed a separate violation.
