It is unlawful for any person to violate the terms of a restraining order issued by a court of competent jurisdiction. For the purpose of this chapter, a "court of competent jurisdiction" shall include courts within the state and courts outside the state that, at the time the restraining order was issued, had valid personal jurisdiction over the restrained party.
