It is unlawful for any person to cancel or solicit the cancellation of any traffic citation in any manner, except where approved by the Municipal Judge.

For the violation of any provisions of this title, any police officer may issue a citation which shall be in the nature to appear at a time and place certain.

In the event any person fails to comply with the terms of a traffic citation, the Chief of Police shall forthwith secure and have served a warrant for the arrest of such person.
