There is hereby established the position of court administrator.

The position of court administrator shall be filled by appointment by the presiding municipal court judge with consultation of the city manager.

The duties of the court administrator shall be such duties as may be delegated by the municipal court judge for the administrative functions of the court, and performs all duties and exercises all powers delegated by the municipal court judge pertaining to such office as provided by law, court rules, and ordinances of the city. The municipal court administrator shall serve at the pleasure of the municipal court judge.
