The city of Fircrest affirms its powers and responsibilities regarding any ordinances, rules or regulations regarding solid waste service within the city limits, and determines that any ordinances, resolutions, rules or regulations of Pierce County regarding the levels and types of service for any aspect of solid waste handling in the city of Fircrest shall not apply within the corporate limits of the city of Fircrest.
