The official newspaper of the city shall be the Tri-City Herald, a daily newspaper of general circulation in the city and a legal newspaper of Benton County, Washington. All official publications of the city shall be made in said newspaper.

The city manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an appropriate contract with the publisher of the Tri-City Herald for the purposes set forth in RMC § 1.08.010.
