Chapter 12.05: STATE HIGHWAY ACCESS MANAGEMENT

§ 12.05.010 Authority.

The city of Richland adopts this policy under the State Highway Access Management Act, Chapter 47.50 RCW and the rules and standards set forth in Chapters 468-51 and 468-52 WAC. This chapter contains the city's policies and procedures for the regulation and control of vehicular access and connection points of ingress to and egress from the state highway system within the incorporated area of the city.

§ 12.05.020 Adoption of state statutes by reference.

The city of Richland adopts the following sections of Chapter 47.50 RCW, as now existing or hereafter amended, by reference:

§ 12.05.030 Additional definitions.

In addition to those definitions contained within RCW 47.50.020 and WAC 468-51-020 and 468-52-020, when used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.

"Department"

means the public works department of the city of Richland.

"Government entity"

means the city of Richland.

"Permitting authority"

means the city of Richland.
