In order to comply with the provisions of Sections 2100 through 2157 of the Streets and Highways Code of the state, with particular reference to Section 2113 thereof, there is created in the city treasury a special fund to be known as the special gas tax street improvement fund.

All moneys received by the city from the state under the provisions of Sections 2100 through 2157 of the Streets and Highways Code for the acquisition of real property or interests therein, or the construction, maintenance or improvement of streets or highways other than state highways shall be paid into the fund provided for in FMC § 3.20.010.

All moneys in the fund established by this chapter shall be expended exclusively for the purpose authorized by, and subject to, all of the provisions of Sections 2100 through 2157 of the Streets and Highways Code.
