For the purpose of this chapter, certain words and phrases shall be construed as set forth in this section:
means any material that is destined to be disposed of at a landfill or transformation facility or any material that should, for health and safety reasons, be disposed of. This may include, but is not limited to, any refuse and waste material derived from the preparation, use, and consumption of meats and food, and all dead fish, animals, fowl, fruits, vegetables, combustible and noncombustible material, including ashes, wire, box strapping, packing materials, crockery, glass, brick, cement, motor vehicle bodies and discarded mechanisms, waste and all other material and matter similar to that mentioned in this section and any other noxious or offensive matter or material usually and ordinarily referred to as garbage or market refuse. "Garbage" does not include recyclable material.
material includes metals, glass, plastic, paper, cardboard, wood, yard trimmings, or any material that is separated from garbage and is destined to be reprocessed or reused.
