A.
Every owner, lessee, tenant, occupant or other person having charge of any building or lot of ground in the Town abutting upon any street, avenue or public place where the sidewalk is paved or in the fire limits shall, after the snow ceases to fall, remove the snow and ice from such sidewalk, within the time period prescribed by the table below (the "Required Removal Period"). The time between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. shall not be included in the Required Removal Period. If the snow ceases to fall between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., the Required Removal Period will not commence until 7:00 a.m. When any ice forms upon any sidewalk, it shall be the duty of such persons to place thereon sufficient sand, salt and/or sodium chloride to prevent persons from slipping until such ice shall be wholly removed. Any owner, lessee, tenant, occupant or other person who has charge of any ground abutting upon the paved sidewalks of any street, avenue or public place for a linear distance of 500 feet or more shall be considered to have complied with this article if such person shall have begun to remove the snow and ice from the sidewalk and gutter before the expiration of said Required Removal Period and shall continue such removal and shall complete it within a reasonable time.

B.
The owners, tenants, lessees, occupants or persons in charge of buildings adjacent to public sidewalks shall take any action necessary to prevent the falling of snow, ice and water from such buildings onto the public sidewalks.
C.
No person or entity shall deposit, plow, throw or place, nor shall any person or entity cause to be deposited, plowed, thrown, placed or strewn, any snow or ice upon any street or sidewalk within the Town/Village so as to create a hazard for pedestrians or vehicles.
D.
No person or entity shall pile, gather up, plow up or in any way force any snow or ice so as to cover or prevent access to a fire hydrant. Every owner, lessee, tenant, occupant or other person having charge of any building or lot of ground in the Town on adjoining property shall clear a three foot wide perimeter around all fire hydrants of snow and ice and shall clear a three foot wide path from the fire hydrant to the roadway.
