Industrial Areas. One or more fire hydrants shall be placed at each street intersection depending on the needed fire flow with an intermediate fire hydrant being placed so that the fire hydrants are no more than 300 feet apart and so located that all buildings in a complex can be reached by a comparatively short hose line from more than one fire hydrant. The above spacing shall be the same for large individual buildings of industrial, mercantile, nature, or multiple-unit residential structures.
B.
For single-family residential areas, there shall be a fire hydrant located at each street intersection with intermediate hydrants spaced so they are no more than 500 feet apart.
