No person shall hunt with firearms, guns or rifles of any nature or with bow and arrow or similar device capable of causing serious injury to human beings, within three hundred (300) feet of the shore lines of the lakes at Forked River, in the Township of Lacey, in the County of Ocean, known as "Deerhead Lake," "Lake Barnegat" and the "Lower Lake."
No person shall discharge a firearm or shoot a gun or rifle of any nature or bow and arrow or similar device capable of causing serious injury to human beings, within three hundred (300) feet of the shore lines of said lakes in said Township of Lacey, in the County of Ocean.
Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.), by imprisonment for a term not to exceed ninety (90) days and/or by a period of community service not exceeding ninety (90) days, in the discretion of the Judge. The continuation of such violation for each successive day shall constitute a separate offense, and the person or persons allowing or permitting the continuation of the violation may be punished as provided above for each separate offense.
