The Village Clerk shall charge the sum of $10 for each written report
requested from the Village concerning the status of the payment of real property
taxes of a property located within the Village of Ellenville. Said fee of
$10 shall be applicable for each parcel searched and shall be paid prior to
the Village Clerk releasing any written report concerning the status of the
payment of real property taxes applicable to the parcel requested.
The Village Clerk shall add to the amount to be paid, with respect to
real property taxes, water or sewer charges or other fees (including fees
due and payable to the Village Building Department, Village Court and other
Village departments) and assessments due and owing to the Village of Ellenville
the sum of $15 for each check issued to the Village of Ellenville which is
not honored by the bank upon which the check was drawn. Said fee shall be
paid to the Village Clerk prior to the Village accepting a replacement check
for the check which has been dishonored and prior to the Village redepositing
the check which was not honored, and the amount of fee charged as aforesaid
shall be assessed against the real property for which the check was issued
and collected in the same manner as the applicable real property taxes, water
or sewer charges or such other fee.
