Traffic control signals shall be installed, maintained and operated at the intersections and locations described in Schedule A (§ 217-46).
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule B (§ 217-47) are hereby designated as one-way streets, and vehicles shall proceed along those streets or parts of streets only in the direction indicated.
No person shall make a turn of the kind designated (left, right, all) at any of the locations described in Schedule C (§ 217-48).
The turning of vehicles so as to proceed in the opposite direction (otherwise known as a U-turn) is hereby prohibited on any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule D (§ 217-49).
In accordance with the provisions of § 1111(d)(2) of the Vehicle and Traffic Law, no person shall make a right turn on a steady red signal at the locations designated in Schedule E (§ 217-50).
The intersections described in Schedule F (§ 217-51) are hereby designated as stop intersections, and stop signs shall be erected as indicated.
The intersections described in Schedule G (§ 217-52) are hereby designated as yield intersections, and yield signs shall be erected as indicated.
A. 
The intersections or locations described in Schedule H (§ 217-53) are hereby designated as school crossings for pedestrian traffic between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. of each day that school is in session, or at such other hours not earlier than 7:00 a.m. nor later than 5:00 p.m. as may be determined by the Board of Trustees or Police Commissioner.
B. 
Such crossings shall be marked by one or more lines on the pavement, and appropriate warning signs shall be located so as to be clearly visible to traffic proceeding in either direction.

C. 
At all times when the signs described in Subsection B are displayed, the operator of any vehicle shall bring such vehicle to a full stop before entering upon or crossing any such school crossing and shall not proceed until all persons standing at the side of the roadway and desiring to cross have crossed.
The maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed on or along any streets or highways within the Village is hereby established at 30 miles per hour, except that the speed limit for vehicles proceeding on or along those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule I (§ 217-54) shall be as indicated in said schedule.
A. 
A truck route system, upon which all trucks, tractors and tractor-trailer combinations having a total gross weight in excess of five tons are permitted to travel and operate, is hereby established and shall consist of those streets and highways, or parts thereof, described in Schedule J (§ 217-55).
B. 
All trucks, tractors and tractor-trailer combinations in excess of five tons are hereby excluded from all streets and highways within the Village except from those streets or highways, or parts thereof, described in said Schedule J; provided, however, that this exclusion shall not be construed to prevent the delivery or pickup of merchandise or other property along the streets or highways from which such vehicles and combinations are otherwise excluded.

Pursuant to New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law § 1640(18), all public streets and roads in the Village of Great Neck Estates are designated as snow emergency routes. No person shall park or permit or continue parking any motor vehicle on any snow emergency route during a period of snow emergency, as designated by the Mayor or the Police Chief. The owner of any vehicle parked on a snow emergency route more than one hour after notification has been given to remove the vehicle shall be guilty of a violation and, upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to a fine not less than $250 nor more than $750 for each period of five hours, or part thereof, during which the vehicle remains parked on a snow emergency route after such notice.
