Parking of the following is prohibited on City streets and parking lots: camper trailers, house trailers, storage and equipment trailers and trailers designed for the transportation of goods and trailers for the transportation of recreational equipment. Parking of these types of vehicles is prohibited whether said vehicle is attached or detached by a hitch to a motor vehicle.

Temporary parking of the above types of trailers shall not violate this chapter if the time period involved does not exceed six consecutive hours and the parking is otherwise legal and in conjunction with the loading, unloading or other legitimate use of the vehicle.
It is the legislative intent of this article to discourage the storage of trailers on the public streets and parking lots. The operation of this chapter shall not be defeated by the movement of the offending vehicle from one location to another location.
Any person committing an offense against any provision of this article shall be guilty of a violation punishable as follows: by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days or by a fine of not less than $100 and not more than $250, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Upon conviction, the individual shall also be responsible for an administrative fee of $100 to be paid to the City Building Department. The continuation of an offense against the provisions of this article shall constitute, for each day the offense is continued, a separate and distinct offense hereunder.
