Games of chance commonly known as "bingo" and "raffles," as provided by the Law of the State of New Jersey, 1954, Chapters 5 and 6, may be conducted in the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills on the first day of the week, commonly known and designated as "Sunday," provided the applicant for the license to conduct such game otherwise qualifies under the provisions of the aforementioned statutes of the State of New Jersey and the rules and regulations of the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission and, specifically, providing that the organization conducting the games is a charitable, religious or other organization specifically qualifying under the provision of the aforementioned statutes.

The Township Clerk is hereby authorized to approve and grant raffle and bingo licenses within the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills.

There is hereby authorized a licensing fee to defray all proper expenses incurred in the administration of the Bingo Licensing Law, the Raffles Licensing Law and the implementing regulation. The fee for the municipal license shall be equal in amount to the fee required to be paid to the state pursuant to state law. No license issued shall be valid for more than one year.
