No person or persons shall do or cause or suffer any damage to be done to any of the fire hydrants of the village. No person or persons shall obstruct in any way any of the fire hydrants within the said village. No person or persons shall place or assist in placing or cause or procure to be placed any barrel, tub or other like obstructions or any sign, signpost, placard or other like thing or article upon or near any of the fire hydrants in the said village.
No person or persons shall take or use any water whatsoever from any public hydrant within said village without permission from the Village Mayor, except in case of fire and for the purpose of extinguishing same.
Any person violating the provisions of this article shall be liable to a fine of not less that $5 and not more than $25 for each offense and, in addition thereto, shall be liable to be prosecuted as and declared a disorderly person.
