For the purpose of this chapter, the Incorporated Village of Bellerose is divided into two districts which shall be designated as follows:
A. 
The Residence District.
B. 
The Apartment and Business District.
The Apartment and Business District shall comprise that part of the Village fronting on the street known as "Jericho Turnpike" and extending 100 feet in depth from the lot line on the said Jericho Turnpike.
The Residence District shall comprise all the territory within the boundaries of said Village other than such portion of said territory as shall be comprised within the Apartment and Business District hereinbefore described.
No building shall be erected, altered or used and no premises shall be used for any other than a purpose permitted in the district in which such building shall be erected, altered or used or said premises used, except in conformity with the regulations herein prescribed for the district in which such building or premises is located.
