No person, firm or corporation shall move on or across any of the public streets, highways, lanes or alleys within said Town of Pendleton any building unless a permit shall have been issued therefor by the Highway Superintendent of said Town of Pendleton.
The permit application shall be filed with the Highway Superintendent. A permit fee of fifty dollars ($50.) shall be paid. The Highway Superintendent shall notify the Code Enforcement Officer of the permit application.
A violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable by a maximum fine of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.) or by a term of imprisonment not to exceed fifteen (15) days, or both.
