No person shall sleep in any stationary motor
vehicle parked at or on any street, park, recreation area, beach access
road or parking area owned, controlled, operated or maintained by
the Village of Southampton, New York, between the hours of 2:00 a.m.
and 5:00 a.m.
No person shall by his actions cause a crowd
to collect, except when lawfully addressing such a crowd, but this
provision shall not be construed to prevent the peaceable assembling
of persons for lawful purposes of protest or petition.

It shall be unlawful for any person to urinate or defecate in
any public place or upon any public street or sidewalk within the
Village of Southampton.

A.
No person shall drink or consume any beer, wine, liquor
or other alcoholic beverage at or on any street, park, sidewalk, recreation
area, beach access road or parking area which is owned, controlled,
operated or maintained by the Village of Southampton, New York, nor
upon any sidewalk, parking area or similar place maintained by a place
of business which is open to the public, nor carry or have in his
possession any open container containing any such alcoholic beverage
at any such place.
B.
Subsection A above shall not apply to service of alcoholic beverages for consumption on Village property or on a Village sidewalk at a sidewalk dining area operated by a licensed business pursuant to a license issued by the Village Clerk for use of the Village property or sidewalk for outdoor dining, provided that such use is conducted in compliance with such license and in compliance with rules and regulations established by resolution of the Board of Trustees for use of the Village property or sidewalk for outdoor dining.

B.
No person shall smoke a cigarette, pipe, cigar or similar smoking
substance at or on Agawam Park within 50 feet of any playground apparatus
or equipment located in Agawam Park.
C.
No person shall smoke a cigarette, pipe, cigar or similar smoking
substance at or on Cooper's Neck Beach (including the ocean beach
and the property used in connection therewith for the municipal bathing
facility) within 50 feet of the concession building and related improvements
(deck areas, shower areas, ramps) located on Cooper's Neck Beach during
the hours of operation of the municipal bathing facility.
It shall be unlawful for any person to permit
or participate in any of the following outdoor sports or outdoor activities
between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on any public or semipublic
place, in any place or establishment open to the general public or
in any private or public club: baseball, softball, tennis, outdoor
bowling, outdoor boccie, basketball, football, racing and any other
type of outdoor games. Any person who is the owner, tenant, manager
or who is otherwise in charge of the premises upon which and at the
time when a violation of this section occurs and who is on the premises
at the time such violation occurs shall also be guilty of a violation
of this section.
It shall be unlawful to play ball (except at
places specifically designated for that purpose), throw stones or
do any act, amusement or practice endangering property or persons
on the streets, highways or public places of the Village of Southampton.
No person shall publicly use any profane, vulgar
or obscene language in any street or public place in the Village of
Southampton.
A.
No person shall operate any tricycle or bicycle between
the curblines of the following streets, that is, in that portion thereof
normally devoted to the parking and operation of motor vehicles:
(1)
On Main Street from the northerly lines of Meeting
House Lane and Jobs Lane to the southerly lines of Hampton Road and
Nugent Street.
(2)
On Jobs Lane from Main Street to the entrance to the
Village parking area south of Jobs Lane.
(3)
On Hampton Road from Main Street to Little Plains Road.

B.
No person shall drive or operate any bicycle or motor vehicle of any kind or nature along the public sidewalks or footpaths of the Village of Southampton within the area described as the VB Business District in Chapter 116, Zoning, of the Code of the Village of Southampton, as amended.

C.
No person shall ride on, use or operate any skateboard, roller skates, in-line skates, roller blades or similar device upon any streets, sidewalks, parking area or public place in the Village of Southampton within the area designated as the VB Business District in Chapter 116, Zoning, of the Code of the Village of Southampton, as amended, except at a place or places, if any, which may be specifically designated for such use. No person shall ride on, use or operate any skateboard, roller skates, in-line skates, roller blades or similar device upon any of the following streets (including the entire width thereof, including the paved or improved portion thereof normally devoted to the operation and parking of motor vehicles and the portion thereof normally devoted to pedestrian traffic, including sidewalks): Culver Street: Pond Lane.

D.
Reckless operating shall mean operating, using or
riding on any bicycle, skateboard, roller skates, in-line skates,
roller blades or similar device upon any public street in the Village
of Southampton in a manner which unreasonably interferes with the
free and proper use of the public street or unreasonably endangers
users of the public street. Reckless operating is prohibited.

No person shall erect or cause to be erected
telegraph, telephone, electric or similar poles in or upon any street,
lane, alley or public place, or string or place any wires in, under,
over or upon the streets or public places of the Village of Southampton,
New York, without the written consent of the Board of Trustees.
No person shall in any manner injure or destroy
any shade tree planted along the streets or sidewalks in the Village.[1]
No person shall maintain any encroachment upon
any of the streets of the Village of Southampton.[1]
