No trailer or vehicle used for living or sleeping purposes standing either on wheels or on rigid supports shall be established or maintained for such living purposes or sleeping purposes within the limits of the Village of Southampton.
This chapter shall not apply to any such trailer or vehicle which was installed with permanent plumbing and sanitary connections and upon rigid supports prior to June 1, 1954, but shall apply to all others.

Any person who violates this chapter or fails to comply with any of its requirements shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalties provided in Article II of Chapter 1 of the Code of the Village of Southampton.
