It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to place, erect or in any other manner attach any form of sign on any utility pole situated or located in the Borough of Middletown, except as follows:
A. 
Emergency signs for snow removal, leaf collection and traffic control shall be permitted as authorized by the Mayor and the Borough Manager.
Any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions of this article or aiding, abetting or assisting in the violation of any provision of this article shall be fined by the District Justice in a sum not more than $100, plus costs of prosecution, or, in default of payment of said fine or cost, shall undergo imprisonment for a period not in excess of 10 days.
