Applications for such inspections are to be made directly to the New York Board of Fire Underwriters or any other organization duly designated by the Town Board. In addition, application for a temporary certificate must be made directly to the New York Board of Fire Underwriters or any other organization duly designated by the Town Board wherever there is a change in electrical service. In the event of an emergency, it is the duty of the Inspector to make electrical inspections upon the oral request of an official or an officer of the Town of Southold.
