A. 
The owner of real property in the Town of Lockport upon which a structure is located shall affix to the principal structure the numerical street address as assigned by the Building Inspector or as the premises is known on the real property tax rolls of the Town of Lockport. The address shall be in Arabic numbers not less than three inches in height and shall be clearly visible from the road. If the principal structure is located so the numbers cannot be affixed to it and be visible from the street, the owner must erect a post and affix the numbers so as to ensure visibility.
B. 
The requirements of this chapter shall be in addition to numbers displayed on roadside mailboxes.
Failure to comply with this chapter shall constitute a violation punishable by a fine of not more than $100. Each week of noncompliance shall constitute a separate offense.
This chapter shall be enforced by the Building Inspector of the Town of Lockport.
