The Town of Lockport is hereby divided into the following use districts, which shall be designated on the Zoning Map. (The districts may be referred to by the full name or by the abbreviation thereof as set forth.):

Agricultural Use District

Agricultural Residential Use District
R-1
Single-Family Residential Use District
R-2
Multifamily Residential Use District
MHP
Manufactured Home Park Use District
B-1
Local Business Use District
B-2
General Business Use District
IN
Industrial Use District
PUD
Planned Unit Development Use District
ADR
Attached Dwelling Residential Use District

The location and boundaries of all districts are established as delineated and shown on the Zoning Map as prepared by Wendel dated October 5, 2016.[1] The map designations are hereby declared to be a part of the Zoning Map. The Zoning Map is hereby made a part of this chapter and is the Zoning Map that shall be filed with this chapter.

A. 
Designation of use district boundaries. The district boundary lines are intended generally to follow the center lines of streets, the center lines of railroad rights-of-way, existing lot lines; the center lines of rivers, streams and other waterways; and Town boundary lines. Where a district boundary line does not follow such a line, its position is shown on the Zoning Map.
B. 
In case of uncertainty as to the true location of a use district boundary line in a particular instance, the Zoning Enforcement Officer shall make a determination of such location.

In addition to use districts, the following overlay districts are established:[1]

B. 
Said overlay districts establish regulations and restrictions for the areas and uses set forth therein in addition to those established by the underlying use district.
