GENERAL REFERENCES
Hours of business — See Ch. 139.
Operating or permitting the operation of any tools, equipment or vehicles used in construction, drilling, earthmoving, excavating, alteration, repairs, paving, demolition work or any other construction work of any nature whatsoever in any residential zone or any tract of land adjacent to any residential zone shall be and is hereby prohibited before the hour of 8:00 a.m. and after the hour of 8:00 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays and before 12:00 noon or after the hour of 4:00 p.m. on Sundays and holidays.
Deliveries of any construction equipment, materials or vehicles of any nature whatsoever to any construction site as described in § 141-1 shall be prohibited before the hour of 8:00 a.m. and after the hour of 8:00 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays and before 12:00 noon or after the hour of 4:00 p.m. on Sundays and holidays.
Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $1,250, a term of imprisonment not exceeding 90 days or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days, or any combination thereof. Each day upon which any such violation shall occur shall be deemed a separate offense.
