Section 66[1] of the Transportation Corporations Law of the State of New York shall apply to the Town of New Hartford, in the County of Oneida, State of New York, and from the date of the passage of this chapter no bus line, stage route, motor vehicle line or route shall be operated wholly or partly upon or along any street or highway in said town, nor receive a certificate of public convenience and necessity therefor, until the owner or owners thereof shall have procured the consent of the Town Board of the Town of New Hartford, in the same manner and subject to the same terms and conditions as is provided in said § 66 for procuring the consent of the local authorities of a city.

Editor's Note: Sections 61 to 69-d of the Transportation Corporations Law were repealed by L. 1983, c. 635, effective January 1, 1984. This act also provided that all permits and certificates in force and effect on the effective date of this act shall remain in force and effect, and the holders shall enjoy all rights, privileges and immunities conferred by such permit or certificate and shall be subject to all terms and conditions thereof pursuant to L. 1983, c. 635, § 8.
