This chapter shall be known and cited as the "Mobile Home Law of the
Town of New Windsor."
This chapter is adopted in order to promote the health, safety, morals
and general welfare of the inhabitants of the Town of New Windsor by regulating
the occupancy and maintenance of mobile homes and mobile home parks.
This chapter establishes minimum standards for mobile home parks and requirements for design, construction, alteration, extensions and maintenance of mobile home parks and related utilities and facilities; authorizes the inspection of mobile home parks; limits the use of mobile homes outside of mobile home parks; and fixes penalties for violation. Any use under the terms of this chapter is a conditional use and subject to review by the Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Board as provided in Chapter 300, Zoning, of the Code of the Town of New Windsor and its amendments.
