Town of New Windsor, NY Article VI Speed Limits

§ 280-27 Town-wide speed limit.

A. The speed limit on all Town roads within the boundaries of the Town of New Windsor shall be 30 miles per hour, except for those roads set forth in Subsections B and C.

B. The following roads shall have a speed limit of 40 miles per hour on the entire length of the road:

Bethlehem Road

Bull Road

Lake Road, from Lake Road Bridge to South Jackson Avenue

Mt. Airy Road

Shaw Road

South Jackson Avenue

Toleman Road

C. The following roads shall have a speed limit of 40 miles per hour except as noted below:

(1) Beattie Road: 30 miles per hour on Beattie Road between the Hamptonburgh - New Windsor Town line and 0.5 mile to the northeast, a distance of 0.5 mile.

(2) Station Road: 30 miles per hour on Station Road between Church Street and 0.2 mile south of Church Street, a distance of 0.2 mile.

(3) Riley Road: 30 miles per hour on Riley Road on the southerly 0.2 mile section.

(4) Twin Arch Road: 35 miles per hour on Twin Arch Road between Route 207 and the Hamptonburgh - New Windsor Town line, a distance of 1.0 mile.
