No filming shall be conducted on private or public property
in the Village of Quogue without first obtaining a permit therefor
from a committee of the Board of Trustees, consisting of the Mayor
and one Trustee. No such permit shall be granted for filming which
in the judgment of said committee would unduly obstruct traffic (vehicular
and/or pedestrian) or create any other hazardous condition or unduly
disturb the peace and good order of the Village. Should traffic control
(vehicular and/or pedestrian) in the judgment of said committee become
necessary, the applicant for the permit shall bear the cost of said
control.
An application for such permit shall be filed at least five
days prior to the date on which it is proposed to conduct such filming.
The application shall show the proposed site or sites involved, the
nature of the proposed filming, the proposed date or dates involved
and such other information as may reasonably be required by said committee.
The applicant shall also supply the Village with proof of public liability
insurance with policy limits of $500,000/$1,000,000. The fee for such
permit shall be as established from time to time by resolution of
the Board of Trustees.
