Town of Bedford, NY Article II Residency Requirements for Appointed Town Officers

§ 17-2 Town officers.

All appointed Town Officers must be residents of the State of New York.

§ 17-3 Legislative authority; conflict with other provisions.

This article is being enacted pursuant to Municipal Home Rule Law § 22(1) and supersedes Town Law § 23 and Public Officers Law § 3.

§ 17-4 Effective date.

This article shall take effect on April 1, 2007.
