A Department of Information Technology is hereby
established in the City of Haverhill.
The Information Technology Department shall
be responsible for developing and maintaining a computer network for
the various municipal departments, officers, boards and commissions,
as well as the processing of departmental payrolls, billing for real
estate, excise and personal property taxes, water/wastewater billings
and other charges and fees, and the maintenance of the City's website.
The Mayor shall, through his office, have control
and management of the Department, which Department and employees shall
be under the immediate supervision and direction of the Director of
Information Technology.
