Bona fide organizations or associations of veterans
of any war in which the United States has been engaged, churches or
religious congregations and religious organizations, charitable, educational
and fraternal organizations, civic and service clubs, officially recognized
volunteer fire companies and officially recognized volunteer first-aid
or rescue squads are hereby authorized to hold and operate games of
chance of and restricted to the specific kinds of games of chance
commonly known as "bingo" or "lotto" and "raffles" on the first day
of the week, commonly known and designated as "Sunday," in accordance
with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 5:8-24 et seq., and 5:8-50 et seq.

The Municipal Clerk of the Township of Franklin is hereby granted
the authority and designated as the issuing authority to review, approve
and grant bingo and raffle licenses within the Township in accordance
with N.J.S.A. 5:8-1 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 13:47-1.1.
