A. 
No person shall park, stand, or stop a truck within the Village with its engine idling for more than 10 minutes.
B. 
For the purposes of this section, a "truck" is as defined in the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
C. 
For the purposes of this section, said ten-minute prohibition shall mean not only any consecutive 10 minutes, but also a total of 10 minutes within any one-hour period.
D. 
For the purposes of this section, said ten-minute period shall not be interrupted if all of said idling takes place within the same driveway, parking lot, or street.

Each and every violation of the provisions of this article shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $500 nor more than $5,000.
