A Recreation Commission of nine members is hereby created, and
the members of that Commission shall be appointed for three-year terms
on January 1 of each year, staggered so that the terms of three members
expire each year. These appointments will begin on January 1, 2019,
when the terms of the three most senior members of this Commission
at that time shall expire to be followed on January 1, 2020, by the
three next most senior members of this Commission, and finally to
be followed on January 1, 2021, for the three least senior members
of this Commission so that by January 1, 2021, all nine members will
be serving staggered three-year terms.
The members of this Commission shall serve without
compensation.
