It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle within the public way at the following locations:
A. 
Either side of Route 35 for a distance of 100 feet westerly of the intersection of Route 25. (Order 133-88)
B. 
On the northerly side of Route 35 for a distance of 160 feet easterly of the intersection of Route 25. (Order 133-88)
C. 
On the southerly side of Route 35 for a distance of 55 feet easterly of the intersection of Route 25. (Order 133-88)
D. 
Either side of Saco Road, aka Route 22, from the Town line to the intersection of Cape Road (Route 35A). (Order 133-88)
E. 
On the southerly side of Harmon's Beach Road for a distance of 1,000 feet from Sebago Lake towards Route 114. (Order 133-88)

From the intersection of Routes 25 and 35, on the westerly side of Ossipee Trail East (Route 25) for 1,550 feet, easterly side of Ossipee Trail East for the first 150 feet, then beginning 950 feet southerly of the intersection of Route 35 and continuing 600 feet. (Order 198-00)

Q. 
On either side of Main Street (Route 11) from Heath Lane to Veterans Memorial Bridge, and from Heath Lane towards Pequawket Trail (Route 113) on the easterly side of Main Street for 500 feet.

A. 
If, in the judgment of the Town Manager, there exists within the Town of Standish a snow emergency, the Manager shall have the authority to declare a snow emergency and place such restrictions on parking in Town ways as deemed necessary for the protection of the health and safety of the public.
B. 
The Manager shall direct the Director of Public Works to post designated roads with signs giving notice of the snow emergency parking restrictions.
C. 
Any vehicle parked in violation of the restrictions imposed shall be towed at the owner's or operator's expense to an accredited service station.
A. 
School Street which connects Routes 35 and 114 in Sebago Lake Village shall be closed to vehicles having more than two axles. Property owners on this street or their agents shall be exempt from this ordinance. (Order 1-88)
B. 
Boundary Road which connects Route 114 and Route 113 shall be closed to vehicles having three or more axles and/or a gross vehicle weight of sixteen tons or more. Property owners on this road or served by this road or their agents shall be exempt from this ordinance. (Order 51-92)
C. 
Cape Road (Route 35A) from Route 25 to Route 35 shall be closed to vehicles having three or more axles and/or gross vehicle weight of sixteen tons or more. Property owners on this road or their agents shall be exempt from this ordinance. (Order 71-00)
D. 
Manchester Road shall be closed to vehicles with gross vehicle weight of 23,000 pounds or more. Property owners on this road or their agents shall be exempt from this ordinance. (Approved by Municipal Officers circa 1980)
E. 
Emery Road shall be closed to vehicles with gross vehicle weight of 23,000 pounds or more. Property owners on this road or their agents shall be exempt from this ordinance. (Approved by Municipal Officers circa 1980)
F. 
Whites Bridge Road shall be closed to vehicles having three or more axles and/or a gross vehicle weight of 16 tons or more. Property owners on this road or served by this road or their agents shall be exempt from this subsection.

G. 
Middle Jam Road from Chadbourne Road (Route 35) to the Gorham Town line shall be closed to vehicles having three or more axles and/or a gross weight of 16 tons or more. Property owners on this road or served by this road or their agents shall be exempt from this subsection.

A. 
Restrictions and notices.
(1) 
The Director of Public Works may seasonally impose such restrictions on the gross registered weight of vehicles as may, in his judgment, be necessary to protect the traveling public and prevent abuse of the highways, and designate the Town ways and bridges to which the restrictions shall apply.
(2) 
Whenever notice has been posted as provided herein, no person may thereafter operate any vehicle with a gross registered weight in excess of the restriction during any applicable time period on any way or bridge so posted unless otherwise exempt as provided herein.
(3) 
The notice shall contain, at a minimum, the following information: the name of the way or bridge, the gross registered weight limit, the time period during which the restriction applies, the date on which the notice was posted, and the signature of the Director of Public Works. The notice shall be conspicuously posted at each end of the restricted portion of the way or bridge in a location clearly visible from the traveled way
(4) 
Whenever a restriction expires or is lifted, the notices shall be removed wherever posted. Whenever a restriction is revised or extended, existing notices shall be removed and replaced with new notices. No person may remove, obscure or otherwise tamper with any notice so posted except as provided herein.
B. 
Exemptions.
(1) 
Any vehicle delivering home-heating fuel and operating in accordance with a permit issued by the Maine Department of Transportation issued pursuant to 29-A M.R.S.A. § 2395, as may be amended from time to time.
(2) 
Any vehicle that is transporting well-drilling equipment during a period of drought emergency declared by the Governor and operating in accordance with a permit issued by the Maine Department of Transportation issued pursuant to 29-A M.R.S.A. § 2395, as may be amended from time to time.

It is not necessary to keep portions of the following roads maintained and open for travel during the months of November through April due to population, use and travel thereon. Note: This restriction exists through 2022 unless rescinded earlier and must be reconsidered in 2022.
A. 
Middle Road. Beginning at a point approximately 2,700 feet easterly of the eastern end of Hope Avenue extending easterly to Oak Hill Road. (Order 179-99)
B. 
Moody Road. Beginning at a point 1,200 feet northerly of the northerly entrance to the Town of Standish Transfer Station extending northwesterly to Harmon's Hill Road.
