In lieu of court action, a person shall pay fines for parking or weight restriction violations as follows:
A. 
No parking zone: $10; defined as any area within the boundaries of the Town of Standish so designated by the Town of Standish and so posted, to prohibit motor vehicles without drivers to be parked, standing or stopped.
B. 
Too close to hydrant: $25; defined as any area within a ten-foot radius of said hydrant.
C. 
Blocking driveway: $10; defined as any vehicle without a driver found parked, standing or stopped in front of a driveway with any portion of said vehicle protruding onto the travel portion of the highway. If said driver is not readily available to move or refuses to move said vehicle, then any law enforcement officer may attach a notice that the vehicle has been parked in violation, and the owner or operator shall pay to the Town of Standish the sum of $10. In addition to the foregoing, the vehicle may be towed upon the direction of a law enforcement officer to any public or private parking facility, and all expenses of towing and subsequent storage shall be borne by the registered owner.
D. 
Handicap zone: $50; defined as any area marked and posted as a parking area solely for the handicapped, and vehicles parked in such an area must display a handicapped plate or placard placed in such a location as to be clearly visible.
E. 
Failure to move vehicle in snow emergency: $25; any vehicle found to be parked in such a way as to hinder the removal of snow and the owner cannot be readily located to move or refuses to move said vehicle, then any law enforcement officer may attach a notice that the vehicle has been parked in violation and the owner or operator shall pay to the Town of Standish the sum of $25. In addition to the foregoing, the vehicle may be towed upon the direction of a law enforcement officer to any public or private parking facility, and all expenses of towing and subsequent storage shall be borne by the registered owner.
F. 
Impeding traffic: $10; any vehicle, with or without a driver, found to be hindering the normal flow of traffic in any way, then any law enforcement officer may attach a notice that the vehicle is in violation, and the owner or operator shall pay to the Town of Standish the sum of $10; the vehicle may be towed upon the direction of a law enforcement officer to any public or private parking facility, and all expenses of towing and subsequent storage shall be borne by the registered owner.
G. 
Fire lane: $25; as defined in Chapter 140, § 140-3.
H. 
Weight restriction. In addition to any penalties imposed by statute, punishable by a fine not to be less than $10 and not to exceed $500. (Order 51-92) (Order 1-88)
