A certified copy of a marriage certificate shall be $10.

A marriage application shall be $5, plus applicable New Jersey State fees.

A certified copy of a birth certificate shall be $10.

A certified copy of a death certificate shall be $10.

The fees for police-related reports, including but not limited to accident, case discovery, computer reports and any other matters, shall be as follows:
A. 
Number of pages.
(1) 
First page to tenth page: $0.75 per page
(2) 
Eleventh to 20th page: $0.50 per page.
(3) 
All pages over 20: $0.25 per page.
B. 
Application by mail: an additional $5 per page for the first, second and/or third pages and $1 for each and every page thereafter.
C. 
Additional and appropriate postage-handling charge where applications are to be sent by mail.

A fee of $5 per card shall be paid for all noncriminal fingerprinting requests. This fee shall be in addition to any fee charged by either the state or federal government.

Fees shall be as follows:
(1) 
Firearms identification card: $10.
(2) 
Permit to purchase firearms: $7.
(3) 
Permit to carry firearms: $15.
B. 
The fees shall be in addition to any fees charged by either the state or federal government.

Miscellaneous fees shall be charged as follows:
A. 
Five dollars per applicant for good conduct letter; $3 for each additional letter per applicant.
B. 
A fee of $25 shall be paid for all checks, money orders or drafts returned for any reason by a bank, savings institution, credit union or clearing house.

Any request for the reproduction and dissemination of printed public records shall be made to the Municipal Clerk as the Custodian of Records, subject to the following fee schedule:
A. 
Except as otherwise provided by law or regulation, the fee assessed for the duplication of a printed record shall be: first page to 10th page, $0.75 per page; 11th page to 12th page, $0.50 per page; all pages over 20, $0.25 per page;
B. 
Police accident reports: See § 87-4.
C. 
Except as otherwise provided by law or regulation, the fee assessed for the duplication of videotaped materials is $10.
D. 
Except as otherwise provided by law or regulation, the fee assessed for the duplication of audio taped materials is $5 per tape.
E. 
Except as otherwise provided by law or regulation, the fee assessment for sending a facsimile transaction is $0.50 per page.
F. 
Where a request is for a copy in a format other than a photocopy, reasonable efforts will be made to provide the information in the format requested. The cost will be based on the costs of producing the format requested.
G. 
Where a legal determination must be made as to whether records are “public records” as provided by law, the request will reviewed by the Township Attorney.
The Township, by and through the custodian of records, may assess to members of the public requesting the reproduction of printed public records not immediately available for dissemination, a fee for the reimbursement of costs incurred by the Township for compilation of the printed public record(s) so requested, which fees shall not exceed the sum of $20 for each man hour (on any part thereof) expended by each and every public employee deployed by the custodian of records to compile and reproduce the printed public records so requested.
The Township Council of the Township of Saddle Brook does hereby promulgate and adopt the following forms for the request for reproduction and release of printed public record and the municipality's response to such request, as set forth in Schedules A and B, respectively, attached hereto and made apart hereof.[1]
