Long title: “An ordinance to establish zoning
regulations for the use of land and structure, area of lots, bulk
of buildings and other structures, the density of population, the
provision of off-street parking spaces, to divide the Township into
districts, and similar regulations for the Township of Springfield,
Burlington County, New Jersey, in accordance with the provisions of
the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law.”

Short title: This chapter shall be known and may be
cited as the “Springfield Township Zoning Ordinance.”
A.
This chapter is adopted in order to promote the public
health, safety, morals, general welfare and all other purposes enumerated
in the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law, N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq.

The zoning regulations and districts set forth in
this chapter are designed to effectuate the Springfield Township Master
Plan and to make such regulations substantially consistent with the
land use plan element of the Master Plan.
