All terms used in this article shall be given their meanings as defined in the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.
The parking of any motor vehicle on or along any of the following streets or parts of streets is hereby prohibited:
A. 
The east and west sides of Stringham Road beginning at Central Hudson Pole No. 84536, then north ending at the intersection with Todd Hill Road (a distance of ±2,543 feet).
The standing or parking of any motor vehicle on or along any of the following streets or parts of streets is hereby prohibited:
A. 
The east and west sides of Todd Hill Road, beginning at the east side of Sprout Creek, then east ending at the west side of Stringham Road westerly intersection (a distance of ±977 feet).
B. 
Both sides of White's Bridge Lane along its entire length.

The stopping of any motor vehicle on or along any of the following streets or parts of streets is hereby prohibited:
A. 
The east and west sides of Todd Hill Road, beginning at the west side of Stringham Road westerly intersection, then east ending at the west side of Stringham Road easterly intersection (a distance of ±375 feet).
B. 
The west side of Stringham Road beginning at the southern side of Sprout Creek, then south ending at Todd Hill Road (a distance of ±1,075 feet).
C. 
The east side of Stringham Road beginning at the boundary fence of the South Campus School, then south ending at Todd Hill Road (a distance of ±253 feet).
The violation of this article shall constitute and be punishable as a traffic infraction under the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York by a fine not more than $50 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days.
A. 
Parking summonses must be answered within 15 days following the scheduled court date as it appears on the summons, either by written plea mailed to the court or by personal appearance by the defendant in the Justice Court. Any defendant who fails to enter a plea by mail and who fails to appear in court within 15 days after the court date appearing on the summons may be subject to a penalty of up to two times the maximum penalty otherwise imposed in this article. The Town Justice shall be authorized to impose such increased fine at such amount as in his or her discretion takes into account the circumstances of the matter before the court.
B. 
Persons who have been convicted of one or more violations of this article shall be required to respond to the summons in person in Court on the date specified in the summons, and pleas of guilty or not guilty may not be made by mail except by leave of the Town Justice for good cause shown.
