A. 
Any person or persons, corporation or corporations, company or companies, partnership or partnerships violating any of the provisions of this chapter applying to the operation of the Town of Monroe water system(s) shall be subject to a fine of $250. Such violation shall constitute disorderly conduct, and the offender may also be punished as a disorderly person.
B. 
The imposition of a penalty for any violation of this chapter shall not excuse the violation or permit it to continue. The violator shall, where possible, correct and remedy such violation forthwith. Any unreasonable delay shall constitute a separate offense.
All ordinances or resolutions, and parts of either, that were heretofore adopted or passed and that conflict or are inconsistent with this chapter or with any part thereof are hereby annulled and repealed; provided, however, that suits and proceedings now pending shall in no way be affected by any provisions of this chapter.
