A.
It shall be unlawful for any person to drive a vehicle
in excess of 30 miles per hour on any road, street or highway in the
Town except as specifically authorized in this article.
B.
It shall be unlawful for any person to drive a vehicle
in the Town at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under
the circumstances and without having regard to the actual and potential
hazards then existing.

Except when a special hazard exists that requires lower speed for compliance with § 145-2B, it shall be unlawful for any person to drive a vehicle in the Town at a speed in excess of the speeds listed below:

A.
Whenever maximum school speed limits have been established
on a highway adjacent to a school, as authorized pursuant to the Vehicle
and Traffic Law of this state, no person shall drive in excess of
such maximum school speed limits during school days between the hours
of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
B.
Permanent nonflashing beacons as prescribed by 15
NYCRR 310.2 shall be erected as required therein.
