No person shall connect any drain designed to
conduct storm-, surface or subsurface water with any part of the public
stormwater drainage system until the plans thereof drawn to scale
shall have been filed with and approved by the Village Engineer and
his written permit issued therefor. No person shall backfill any trench
in which such drain is laid or constructed until the Plumbing Inspector
shall have inspected the same and issued his written approval thereof.
Except in case of temporary emergency, no person
shall cause or permit any water or other liquid to be pumped or forced
to run from or out of any building or premises upon or across any
sidewalk or curbstone or into any street without first securing a
written permit from the Village Engineer.
