A. 
Temporary interruption of service. The Water Department shall have the right to shut off water supply in the water mains to effect repair, alteration or replacement. Under such conditions, the village shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to private property or to any public property not owned by the Village of Scarsdale, resulting from such temporary interruption of service.
B. 
Notification of service interruption. When, pursuant to § A320-28A of these Regulations, a temporary interruption of service is necessary, the Water Department will endeavor to give notice to as many occupants of affected premises as time will permit and, so far as practicable, will use its best efforts to prevent inconvenience and damage. Under such circumstances, the village shall not be responsible for any loss or damage resulting directly or indirectly from the failure to give such notice.
